OxfordInformatics Identity Provider (IdP)
The OxfordInformatics Identity Provider (IdP) is a server that verifies and, through the OpenID Connect standard, attests to your identity to other services. It is used to access various services hosted by OxfordInformatics including Cloudstore.
Registration
To register an account on the OxfordInformatics IdP, please request an invitation from Abhinav Praveen. After the invitation is sent, the processs will be as follows:

You will receive an email from no-reply@idp.oxfordinformatics.org inviting you to create an account
- Please wait a few minutes and check your Junk for this email
- You will have 3 days to complete this process

Click on the link in the email and follow the steps shown for your account to be created
Usage
To use this account, simply visit one of our services that you have access to (e.g. https://cloudstore.oxfordinformatics.org). You will be redirected to https://idp.oxfordinformatics.org/realms/oxfordinformatics. Enter the credentials you created to log in. Never enter your OxfordInformatics credentials on a site other than https://idp.oxfordinformatics.org.
Management
You can manage your account by visiting https://idp.oxfordinformatics.org/realms/OxfordInformatics/account and logging in. In line with guidance from the National Cyber Security Centre (https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/passkeys), it is suggested to use a passkey to log in to your OxfordInformatics account. To do so:

Log in to https://idp.oxfordinformatics.org/realms/OxfordInformatics/account
- Navigate to: Account Security → Signing In
- Select ‘Set up PassKey’ under ‘Passwordless’
